Cult Classics

It's amazing how one person can inspire generations long after they've passed. I've always been fascinated with people such as mademoiselle Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, who is one of those prodigious names in fashion and beauty.

The French designer, responsible for the innovation of the LBD among other fabulous things, was always seen with scarlet puckers. She once expressed, "I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness."
Truly, this woman knew a lot about beauty, and she definitely knew her cosmetics. So when looking for a tube of red lipstick, why look at other brands when you can get it from Coco Chanel herself? Chanel (the brand, not the designer) is over a hundred years old to date, and is still considered one of the leading luxury fashion houses. It's more than just fashion; Chanel cosmetics are also made with top quality ingredients and have classic, sophisticated packaging.

Chanel's star lip product is Rouge Coco, a modern take on the lipstick Coco Chanel created herself. With its lightweight formula, the lipstick is easy to apply - even if you're red tube noob. It also has a Hydratendre complex, which moisturizes and softens the puckers and gives full, long-lasting coverage.

Try this now a timeless look made popular by a design legend and a young fashion icon's minimalist approach to beauty.

Honestly, I quite low in fashion, my knowledge is not a broad as you and others, and i am trying to keep up with today's fashion. I guess there weren't forgotten because of the contributions they have in a fashion world that the name is and will always be remembered?

hmmm indeed, why shouldn't a woman fix herself a little before going out? these days I have found pleasure in making myself extra presentable and I am so loving it...wish I could have those products to use :) I only have one lipstick these days :)

Even at home, I love to wear light make-up. My principle is, I need to look good for myself first and second for my husband.

I always consider Chanel as a very elegant piece of make up and very pricey too, I hope to try it in the future.
