Megan bested 25 other contestants and became the Philippine representative to the prestigious Miss World 2013 pageant to be held on September 28 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
During the Q&A portion, Megan answered the question, “Why do you want to be Miss World Philippines?”
She said “Miss World PH is selfless and to be selfless, you need to have a heart. If I win Miss World PH, I would give myself wholeheartedly to be of service. Beauty with a heart.”
The pageant was hosted by Carla Abellana, KC Montero and Victor Basa, with Gwendoline Ruais and Divine Lee as co-anchors.

I guess it helped her a lot to be very confident in QandA like this because she already has such exposure, but I am very happy with her answer, more power to her and may she show in Ms World the triumph of beauty with a heart.
Too bad for me, I haven't seen the pageant. It would have been a great Sunday event to sit on the couch and watch who wins what.

I wasn't able to watch the pageant itself.. i'm not really her fan pero malay mo she can bring home the world crown this year..
