Do I Have a Style?

I came across about this question in myself just now. Do I really have a style that expresses my personality? I'm the quite, shy type of a person. I am not expressive of what I feel. I just go on with my day-to-day life as it is. My life maybe boring, but that's how I live it.

It's really rare that I dress up. Maybe if there's an important event. But, when I work and just stay at home, I can deal with my sweatshirt and pajama. I'm so comfortable with that.

But when going out with friends? My to-go outfit will always be a plain blouse, jeans and paired with flip flops or sometimes, sandals. If I'm not wearing jeans when I go out, I usually wear denim pedals or soft pedals.

About my hair, it's always tied-up. I can't imagine myself going out with my hair untied. But, when it was still short, I don't have a choice but to let it be.

One of my "to-go" look. Is this considered as a style?

I'm a simple kind of girl. But, as the start of this blog, I promised to change myself a bit. I promised to be more into fashion, cosmetics and just anything girly-girly stuffs. And guess what? I'm still working on that. I still haven't improved myself much. But at least, I am now getting better at putting make-up and that's a big achievement for me.

I hope my next post, I'll be showing my new style. Especially that I now have a critique. My cousin of Rara Fashion Hubs is so into fashion more than I do. He knows a lot and he judge my outfit every time we go out together. If he don't like what I wear, I'll be hearing nonstop insults from him. LOL.

He said I'm a lady and I should act like a proper one. Hahaha. What a guy! I really love him. He's changing me. He looks after what soap I use, what shoes will I wear and how much make-up I put on. I really love it when he is around! :) comments

Such a great cousin to have. I am lousy with fashion as well, I wish I could have someone to tell me that lol. Wait, I do have one, my husband, he knows what would look good on me lol.

simplicity is a style, and for me, the most elegant style, ever! :) you are pretty Marie, I hear you very well, there is nothing wrong at all with adding spice to our looks, it's indeed great to have a style, but really, simplicity is a style. :)

oh, so "the only princess" is your cousin. i must say you are lucky to have him. sometimes we do need a love one to push us to beautify ourselves. nakakarelate ako kasi at times, if not for photo opps di rin ako palaayos ng sarili. :)

Actually you have a style,it doesn't matter whatever it is. If you're happy with it then you don't need be a fashionista.

What style are you talking about. But be yourself bunso and be not a copycat. Yan ang style, may originality.

no matter how simple our outfits are, what matters the most is how much we are comfortable in it.
i am also more on a jeans+top. i seldom don dresses except on occasions.

Papaleng is right, just be yourself. But a little change won't hurt as long as you are comfortable with it. It's nice to have a cousin to look after you when it comes to fashion. And hey i like your leggings.

i don't have a style either. don't worry, we're on the same boat. i just love being in jeans, shirts and that's it! i used to tie my hair all the time, but when i got my hair fixed, i don't like it tied anymore. hehehe... i guess that's the only thing i've changed for now. but, just be yourself. real beauty comes from within.
